Meet Charlie 2 yrs old Standard Schnauzer – A sweet and loyal dog who needs a new home without kids. Charlie’s background prior to his current home is unknown but it is clear he hadn’t received the care and structure he deserves. Despite this, Charlie is incredibly loving, smart, and an absolute cuddle bug. He bonds closely with his person and has a sweet, affectionate side that really shines when he feels safe. Charlie does have some behavioral challenges. His previous owners didn’t socialize him, and he was never properly trained or exposed to routine things like grooming or handling. As a result, Charlie can become defensive when asked to do something he doesn't want to do—like going inside or being picked up for a bath. He growls when uncomfortable and tries to bite. Charlie has so much love to give, but he needs a second chance with the right person who is patient and familiar with dogs with a history of abuse or neglect that can work with him and train him. Charlie has been fully vetted and is up to date on all his vaccines. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, complete the application

This amazing little fella was spotted for weeks but could not be caught. he was very timid and scared of everything. On 6/8/2025, he was finally able to be trapped and brought to safety. He was nothing but skin and bones. It looks like he was attacked by something and has a large wound to his neck. **UPDATE** Rocky has been to see the Vet, it appears he was attacked. He has two large puncture wounds to each side of his neck. I don’t know how this little guy has survived these wounds. He is anemic and his wounds are infected. He is on antibiotics and we are going to cook him some liver to try and get his iron up. Once he is all fixed up and has a clean bill of health Rocky will be looking for his forever home. If you are interested, please complete the adoption application.
